We are a beef jerky company that has come a long way since our humble beginnings in 2011.
Our story began in Queensland when Mark Hoyle founded Geronimo Jerky in 2011. He had a passion for beef jerky, and his secret family recipe from his Native American ancestry quickly gained popularity among his friends and family. As word of mouth spread, Mark realised there was a significant demand for his jerky, and Geronimo Jerky was born.
Fast forward to today, and Geronimo Jerky has become a household name across Australia. We are now proudly trading under the ownership and management of Le Woolf Fine Foods & Catering Pty Ltd, based in Sydney, NSW.
Our commitment to quality and excellence has been recognised time and time again. In 2012, at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show, Geronimo Jerky won seven awards, cementing our place as one of the best beef jerky brands in the country. In 2018, our fiery Sidewinder flavour took out first place at the Mr Chilli Awards. And most recently, at the 2025 Sydney Royal Fine Food Awards, we were awarded three Gold Medals — for Wagyu Beef Jerky Smokey BBQ, Wagyu Beef Jerky Chilli Chutney, and Lamb Jerky Sunday Roast — with the Chilli Chutney Wagyu also crowned Champion in the “Jerky or Biltong Type Product” category.
