Sliced biltong comes vacuum-packaged in 1kg bags. You would typically freeze it to maximise freshness and then in the morning take out as much as you need and keep it in the fridge or on display (where appropriate).
Some restaurants have a 'biltong platter' menu item. Serve on a plate and garnish with trail mix / fruit & nuts.
Others incorporate the biltong into a salad or garnish on top of steaks or as a topping on hamburgers.
